We're the M.A.D. (Mother and Daughter) Readers!  One of our younger members came up with our clever name.   Our group has 13 members including 5 moms and 8 daughters ranging from 5th through 8th grade.  We take turns hosting meetings, and we even went on a field trip to the movies after reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe last year!

The main focus of our book club is to connect with our daughters in a fun environment.  Some moms and daughters read the books together while others of us read them on our own.  Either way, we always have a great time at meetings - sharing our thoughts about books, playing games and making crafts.  It's a special way to share time together!
