Budds Web Site!
Book Budds is an age-appropriate book club for girls in Kindergarten through
Eighth Grade, as well as Mother/Daughter groups. We
provide the tools and information girls need to build a positive, fun and motivational environment
where they can share books. Reading the
same books creates a wonderful basis for sharing thoughts and ideas as well
as related activities such as snacks, games, crafts, and much more!

 Our History:
In 2002, Laurie Boone started her girl’s book clubs for her own daughters and
their friends. She wanted to create a positive environment where girls could socialize and
have fun while developing a love for reading. Laurie watched as girls learned
to share their own point of view and respect others’ ideas at the same time.
Book Budds was formed in
2004 to encourage more girls to start their own book clubs by providing the
resources girls and parents would need. Laurie loves to see kids learn and grow
while they are having fun, and she hopes you will, too! |
